ABOUT HILARY COTTER & BRIGHTER FUTURE A.T.

Hilary Cotter founded Brighter Future A.T. She is the only Clinical Specialist in Assistive Technology working in private practice in Ireland. She is also a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland and she is registered with CORU (Ireland’s Health and Social Care Professionals Regulator).

Hilary Cotter is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy from Trinity College Dublin in 1997. She has worked in a variety of roles and settings throughout Ireland and the UK, working with both adults and children with complex needs. She worked as a Senior O.T. in the Assistive Technology and Specialised Seating service in the Central Remedial Clinic and she set up the first ever Assistive Technology service within a Primary Care setting in the HSE. Most recently, she worked as a Clinical Specialist in Assistive Technology in the National Assistive Technology Training Service in Enable Ireland.
